Cho Junhyoung (KOFA) is chief researcher for the Korean Film Archive. His research interests cover Korean film history, film policies, and industries. Until the mid-2000s, Cho worked as a guest researcher for the Korean Film Council and as a film organization expert. After joining the Korean Film Archive, he published a book about Shin Films, a major Korean film company in the 1960s and 1970s, and articles on Korean film directors Yi Man-hŭi, Han Hyŏng-mo, and Ha Kil-chong. He has also been planning research projects on Korean film history at the Korean Film Archive. His recent research involves the history of Korean film censorship, in addition to the history of the Cold War and Korean cinema industry.
